A Day To Change Your Prayer Life

I don’t often advertise other events on here but this is different. Just over a year ago I recommend a book on prayer that had changed my life. I have had cumbrous messages from people who since reading it have discovered the same. Well the author of that book is going to be speaking a conference on the subject in just a few weeks time. It’s going to be hosted by my friends from Oakhall at their beautiful Otford Manor. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
This is what my friend Paul Mayo, from Oakhall, writes:
I know that prayer is my greatest privilege, and yet often it’s the area in which I feel most defeat and failure. Over the last couple of years one book has been particularly helpful in moving me to pray: A Praying Life, by Paul Miller. Down-to-earth, practical, easy-to-read, Bible-saturated and Jesus-focussed; it has excited me about the grace of the God to whom I pray and the wonder of the relationship I have with Him. Rather than leaving me feeling guilty about not praying, it has excited me and made me eager to pray more.
I am very pleased that the author is visiting Britain and will be joining us for a day of practical teaching on prayer at Otford Manor, the home of Oak Hall. I’d love you to join us!
Paul and his team will be with us for 24 hours from 5pm Monday 14th November – 5pm Tuesday 15th November. They will be teaching us Monday evening and Tuesday during the day. You’re welcome to join us for the full event or from 9:45am on Tuesday.
The cost will be £36 for the full conference (including 3 meals, accommodation at Otford Manor and a talk on Monday evening) or just £15 for the day on Tuesday (including a cooked lunch and a day’s teaching from 0930-1700). To find out more visit here.
