Cardiff Uni CU Carol Service

I got back today from the final of four University Carol Services in the last week. It’s been an awesome privilege to preach to nearly 2,000 people, many of whom would have been hearing the Gospel for the first time. Christmas still provides an amazing opportunity to share the Gospel. In Cardiff 640 crammed into a hall with only 400 seats in the Students Union for an amazing production complete with orchestra, band and professional lighting rigs (pictured). Several hundred turned up to the services in London and Liverpool held in traditional church buildings by candle light. UCLan CU in Preston held there’s the local Salvation Hall and followed it with festive foods including turkey and cranberry sandwiches!

I’m in Bournemouth now for the weekend getting ready to preach at our carols by candle light service on Sunday night. Thanks to those who have been praying. After travelling the best part of 2,000 miles in the last week it’s nice to be in a place for more than a day!
