Here, there and everywhere…

…would be a good way to describe this autumn term. Two weeks ago I collected the mini bus that we were able to buy with the money I raised on the sponsored cycle in the summer. It was fun driving it from Germany along the same route that I cycled all the way to Romania (just that it took two days to drive what it took two weeks to cycle!).

Two weeks ago I was Knighton Church in Leicester speaking at a number of different events through the week. it was a bit disappointing that not more guests were brought along during the week. However, the final Sunday was a great opportunity with a triple dedication in the morning and triple baptism in the evening! Lots of friends came and several took books to indicate that they had prayed in response to what they had heard.

Last Monday I was in Cardiff speaking at the launch night for the mission that I will be jointly leading at the end of the month. It was great to see the event so well organised and well attended. It promises to be an exciting week with all the Cardiff Universities CU’s joining together for the mission.

Over the weekend I spoke at the SW London CU’s house party. We had a good weekend together looking at 2 Corinthians 4 and also spending several hours in evangelism training on Saturday morning. It was good to plan for their mission week coming up in February. Pray they get organised soon and start to build momentum for the mission.

Tomorrow I am off to Nottingham to lead training for the UCCF midlands team on Making the Most of Missions. Then I head to Manchester to speak at the CU in preparation for the mission week I am leading there next term. Then I head London on Wednesday to lead training for the UCCF team in the morning and then speak to the student leaders in the afternoon. Friday I go to speak at Leicester Universities CU weekend away. Please pray for energy in all the travelling and a deep appreciation of the love of Jesus that leads to a real love for those I speak to.
